YOUTH SOCCER

• Ages: 4-18 (Born 2007 – 2020)
• Season Games: 7 regular-season games for recreation division.  Advanced, premier, and intermediate divisions will have 7 regular-season games plus 1 week of playoffs and championships.
• Game Days/Times: Games are Friday – Sundays (times vary).
• Practice time is NOT included in the player fee. Teams may rent court space for practices at an additional reduced fee.
• Looking for a team? Free agents will either be placed on a team or create their own team if there are seven players registered in that age group. This is NOT a guaranteed placement.
• The first tie-breaker will be head-to-head, then points against. followed by point differential.
• Schedules will be posted online. Please do not print the schedule as it is subject to change.
• ALL TEAMS WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN JERSEYS.
• Please Note: Coaches are required for all youth sports, including High School, to ensure player discipline & sportsmanship. These individuals do not need to make coaching decisions but must attend games. VBFH does not assign coaches to teams.

• Recreation League: Open Division, Girls Division
• Advanced League: Open Division, Girls Division
• Intermediate / Premier League: Boys Division, Girls Division

*Open in this case will simply mean that both boys and girls can play on the same team. However, teams may consist of all boys or all girls

Recreational League

• 0-2 Season experience
• For players new to the sport or seeking a fun, social experience.
• Age Groups (Birth Years): 2019/2020,2017/2018, 2015/2016, 2013/2014, 2011/2012 (Open and Girls divisions available)
• Season: 6 regular season games
• Rosters: 10-12 players recommended, maximum 15

Advanced League

• For players with 3-5 season experience looking for increased competition.
• Age Groups (Birth Years): 2015/2016U9/U10, 2013/2014U11/U12, 2011/2012, ,2009/2010, 2006-2008 (Open Coed and Girls divisions available)
• Season: 6 game season, top 2 teams play playoffs
• Rosters: 10-12 players recommended, maximum 15

Intermediate League

• For experienced players on a club and or JV high school teams seeking a higher level of competition.
• Age Groups (Birth Years): 2013/2014, 2011/2012, 2009/2010, 2006-2008 (Boys and Girls divisions available)
• Season: 6 game season, top 2 teams play playoffs
• Rosters: 10-12 players recommended, maximum 15

Premier League

• For highly skilled Varsity and or club players aiming for elite competition.
• Age Groups (Birth Years): 2013/2014, 2011/2012, 2009/2010, 2006-2008 (Boys and Girls divisions available)
• Season: 6 game season, top 2 teams play playoffs
• Rosters: 10-12 players recommended, maximum 15

Note: All leagues may have divisions within each league created to balance age and skill levels. Coaches, please make sure you are registering for the appropriate skill level for your team to maintain fairness across the board

  • Register yourself as Team Captain/Manager or Coach – by choosing the register button on the right of the league you registered your team for

If Joining a Team:

• If you are a player registering for an existing team, please select: “Join a Team”
• Please contact your coach, manager, or team captain to obtain the registration code

Registered Free Agents (individuals):

• If you are registering as a free agent/individual – we will look to place the free agent on a house team or an established team; however, we cannot guarantee placement on a team.
• Payment will not be taken until we are able to place the Free Agent on a team. Any player placed on a team without the consent of the coach will be removed from the team. In all cases placement is contingent upon enough registrants and/or a volunteer coach is confirmed.
  • Please Note:
    • Volunteer Adults are required to coach/manage all Virginia Beach Field House youth sports, including High School, to ensure player discipline, sportsmanship, and equitable playing time. No prior coaching experience is necessary.
    • An Individual player cannot be added to any team without the coach’s/manager’s approval.

NEW! AGE VERIFICATION! – All players that are playing in the Youth League Basketball must email us at leagues@beachfieldhouse.com a copy of their Birth Certificate before the start of the season. (We do not keep any copies – all will be deleted after verification) Any player that does not have their birth certificate on file by the start date of the season will not be allowed to play until we have received said documentation.

• All participants must have a completed waiver and their annual  ADMINISTRATIVE FEE before participating in any Virginia Beach Field House program.
• Any inappropriate language within the facility is not tolerated and will result in a suspension from the facility.
• Intimidation or threatening behavior will result in a suspension from the facility.
• No metal studs or spikes (molded cleats are allowed on our turf fields) will be allowed on any of our courts/turf fields. VBFH staff will make all determinations on permissible footwear.
• No jewelry can be worn during league play. Casts below the elbow are allowed with padded material AND the approval of the referee.
• No clothing with pockets is permitted.
• No food or drink (unless bottled/covered) is allowed inside any of the players boxes or on the field at any time.
• Any ejection (albeit from a staff member or a referee) from the facility will result in a MINIMUM one (1) week suspension from the facility and an automatic one (1) game suspension. Multiple ejection consequences will be administered, as needed, by VBFH staff.
• Involvement in a fight will result in a MINIMUM one (1) year suspension from the facility. Involvement in a second (2) fight will result in a lifetime ban from the facility.
• At no time shall a spectator enter the field or speak with officials, coaches, or players. Any spectator that enters the field to confront an official or another player will result in a suspension from the facility.
