The Virginia Beach Field House is hosting the second Annual Winter Youth Soccer Champions Cup. All matches will be played on VBFH's Indoor turf Fields. Join us for music, family fun and some great soccer.
U8-U15 will play December 9th-10th, 2017
U16-Adult will play December 16th-17th, 2017
Team Registration is now closed. Please follow the link below to roster your player for their team roster:
Each team is guaranteed 3 games.
U6 and U7 will play 5v5 ($275.00 per team)
U8 - Adult will play 7v7 (325.00 per team)
Max Roster of 15 player per team. Each player must be rostered onto the team before team check-in on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 (need to check-in at least an hour before your first game).
- Division Age Cut-offs will be adapted to the new US Youth Soccer Age Matrix. Age cut offs will be Jan 1st (see the Matrix here)
Tournament Rules: The Winter Youth Soccer Champions Cup will follow a modified version of the VBFH Youth Soccer League Rules.
Tie Break Procedures
In the event of a tie in points at the end of bracket play; the winner for advancement to Semi-Final or Finals will be determined as follows:
- The winner in head to head competition. (If there is a 3-team tie, proceed to the next tie breaker)
- Goal differential, max of +/-5 per game
- Goals For (max 5 goals per game)
- Goals Against (max 5 goals per game)
- Resolving ties in Championship Match
If the Championship match is tied at the end of regulation time, the teams will be given a 2-minute rest and then two 5-minute overtime periods will be played. Both 5-minute overtime periods will be played to completion. If still tied after the two overtime periods are completed, the Champion will be decided by using the penalty kick procedure.
- Resolving ties in a Semi Final Match
Semi-final matches ending in a tie will proceed straight to the penalty kick procedure to determine a winner.
- Resolving ties which must Produce a Team to Advance to a Consolation Match
Matches ending in a tie which must produce a winner to advance to a consolation must proceed straight to the penalty kick procedure to determine a winner.
